• Click on "Create gallery now" on our homepage
• Fill in your event details (name, date)
• Complete the one-time payment (29.99 € for 6 months)
• Receive your QR code and private admin link via email

You can share your QR code in multiple convenient ways:

• Printed flyers: Place them on guest tables, at the bar, or venue entrance
• Digital links: Send via WhatsApp, email, or social media
• Display live: Project onto a screen or TV during the reception
• Print templates: Use our pre-designed, ready-to-print PDF flyer templates, perfect to combine with a digital guestbook with photos or creative photo tasks for wedding guests
• In invitations: Include the code in your physical or digital invitations

FlashUp works reliably across virtually all modern devices:

QR code scanning requires a device equipped with a camera.

• Supported formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, HEIC (iPhone), WebP, GIF, MP4, M4A
• File size limits: No limits
• Upload limits: Guests can batch-upload multiple photos and videos simultaneously

Media files are served efficiently for rapid browser loading while preserving original full quality upon download.

No! There are zero limits on:

• Number of photos in your gallery
• Number of videos in your gallery
• Number of guests who can participate
• Number of uploads per person

Your gallery grows to whatever size your event needs!

We take content moderation seriously:

• You can hide or delete any photo instantly inside the admin panel
• Inappropriate content can also be reported to us via email
• We review all reported items within 24 hours

Your photos and videos are protected according to highest security standards:

• Encryption: All data is encrypted during transit and at rest via TLS 1.3
• EU Hosting: Hosted in ISO 27001 certified German data centers (OVH)
• Private Access: Only guests with your unique QR code link can access the gallery
• No Search Indexing: Search engines will never index your private gallery
• Backups: Automated daily encrypted backups within the European Economic Area

Only people with access to your QR code or direct link can see your gallery:

• You (the event host)
• Anyone you share the QR code with
• Anyone they might forward the link to

Tip: Treat your QR code like a password and share it only with people you trust. Inside the admin panel, you can also enable a gallery password for additional protection.

Yes! FlashUp is 100% GDPR-compliant:

• All servers are located within the European Union
• No personal data collected from guests (no registration, no phone numbers, no names)
• No tracking cookies or advertising networks
• Standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA / AVV) at purchase

Your gallery and all photos are accessible for 6 months after your event date.

Before expiration, we send you email reminders so you can download all original files conveniently in a single ZIP archive.

Important: After 6 months, all data is permanently and securely deleted in compliance with data privacy regulations.
