No! This is one of the best features of FlashUp. Guests just need to:

• Scan the QR code with their mobile camera
• Your browser will open automatically
• They can upload photos directly through the web interface

It works on any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a modern web browser.

FlashUp works on virtually all modern devices:

• Smartphones: iPhone (iOS 12+), Android (8.0+)

The QR code scanning feature requires a device with a camera.

• Supported Formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, HEIC (iPhone), WebP, GIF, MP4, M4A, WAV
• File Size Limits: no limits
• Upload Limits: Guests can upload multiple photos and videos simultaneously

Photos are automatically compressed for faster loading while maintaining quality.

No! There are no limits on:

Your gallery can be as large as your event needs!

We take content moderation seriously:

• You can report inappropriate content via email or delete it yourself in the admin panel
• We review reports within 24 hours
• Inappropriate content is removed immediately

Your photos & videos are protected with enterprise-grade security:

• Encryption: All photos are encrypted during transmission and storage
• EU Hosting: Stored in GDPR-compliant European data centers
• Private Access: Only people with your QR code can access the gallery
• No Public Indexing: Your gallery does not appear in search engines
• Backups: We regularly back up your photos to a second location

Only people with access to your QR code or direct link can view your gallery. This includes:

• You (the gallery creator)
• Anyone you share the QR code with
• Anyone they might share it with

Important: Treat your QR code like a password - only share it with people you trust.

Yes! We are fully GDPR compliant:

• All data is stored in the EU
• We only collect necessary information
• You can request the deletion of your data at any time
• We have clear privacy policies and consent mechanisms

Your gallery and all photos are available for 6 months after your event date.

Before deletion, we will send you email reminders to download your photos if you wish to keep them permanently.

Important: After 6 months, all photos will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

We accept all major payment methods via Stripe:

All Payments are securely processed by Stripe, we never store your payment information.

Since we provide the service immediately (QR code and gallery creation), refunds are generally not available under EU consumer law.

Currently, each gallery is priced individually at 29.99 €. However:

• Event planners planning multiple events can contact us for potential discounts
• We occasionally offer promo codes (like SUMMER50)
